About Racing Limits
Racing Limits is a free traffic racing game in which you drive through dense highway and city traffic at high speed, scoring for overtakes, near misses and time spent in the oncoming lane. It offers one-way, two-way, time-trial and free-ride modes across several vehicle classes.
The scoring system pushes you into the dangerous lane deliberately. Driving against traffic pays a continuous bonus, as does every close overtake, so the safest line is always the lowest-scoring one. Two-way mode is where this bites hardest — you are reading closing speeds rather than following distances, and the reaction window at 180 km/h is under a second.
Vehicle choice matters more than in most games of this type. Heavier cars are more stable at speed but change lanes slowly, which is a real liability in dense traffic, while light cars can thread gaps that a saloon simply cannot fit through. Upgrades to handling generally pay off faster than upgrades to top speed.
How to play Racing Limits
Accelerate and steer between lanes to overtake traffic. In two-way mode, driving in the oncoming lane earns bonus points for as long as you stay there. Complete each mode's objective — distance, overtakes or time — without crashing. Collisions end the run immediately.
Tips and strategy
- Upgrade handling before top speed. Lane-change rate keeps you alive in dense traffic; top speed mostly just shortens your reaction window.
- In two-way mode, pick your overtaking gap two cars early. Closing speeds leave you no time to reconsider.
- Use the shoulder sparingly — it is safe but scores nothing, so it should be a recovery lane rather than a driving line.
- Lighter cars fit gaps heavier ones cannot. If you keep clipping bumpers mid-overtake, try a smaller vehicle before upgrading.
