About Dune Ball
Dune Ball is a free physics game in which you roll a ball over desert dunes, controlling momentum on the way down each slope to launch off the crest and land cleanly on the next. Distance and clean landings both feed your score.
The whole game is momentum management on curved terrain. Accelerating down a slope builds speed for the launch, but the angle at which you leave the crest decides whether you land flat or nose-first — and a bad landing kills all the speed you spent the previous dune building.
Because each dune's shape differs, there is no single input that works everywhere. Reading the curve ahead and adjusting your acceleration before the crest rather than at it is the skill the game is built around.
