About Count Master
Count Master is a free crowd-running game in which you lead a group of stick figures down a course lined with gates that multiply, add to or subtract from your numbers. At the end of each run your crowd fights an enemy group, and the larger side wins.
Every gate is a small arithmetic decision made at speed. A gate offering ×3 is obviously better than +10 when you have twenty figures and obviously worse when you have two, so the correct lane depends on your current count — and the game gives you about a second to work it out.
The fight at the end is decided almost entirely by numbers, which means the running section is the whole game. Avoiding subtraction gates matters as much as taking multipliers, and a run that dodges every red gate usually beats one that took a big multiplier and then walked through a −20.
How to play Count Master
Steer your crowd left and right down the course, passing through the gates that increase your numbers and avoiding those that reduce them. Multiplication gates scale with your current crowd size. At the end of the course your crowd fights an enemy group — the larger side wins.
Tips and strategy
- Multiplication beats addition once your crowd is above about ten. Below that, take the addition gate.
- Avoiding a subtraction gate is often worth more than taking a bonus on the other side of the track.
- Steer early. The crowd has width and the trailing figures follow your path, not your final position.
- Late gates matter most — a multiplier near the end scales your entire accumulated crowd.
